What is the transfer market?
The transfer market is a dynamic market where Cricvest users can buy and sell stocks with other users. It allows you to list your stocks for sale or place bids at specific prices, and explore current buy and sell offers. With dynamic pricing and active trading, the transfer market puts you in control of your portfolio and offers opportunities for users of all levels.
What is the difference between market and limit trading?
You have two options when buying and selling stocks:
Buy or Sell stocks instantly for the best available price on the market - the trade will execute and you will receive the stocks instantly.
Place a order for a specific price in order book. If someone will interested in your bid. Then order will be executed.
During the MVP, only limit trading functionality will be available. Users will have the capability to review pending bids from the order book and buy or sell stocks accordingly.
Go to the transfer market page for the player you want. You can search from the left panel on the transfer market page, or select a player from the all players page.
In the buy section, select Limit or Market.
Enter the price and the quantity you want and then click "Buy" or "Sell".
Review the order and click "Confirm".
What is the difference between the Transfer Market and an IPO?
An IPO (initial Player Offering) is when Cricvest releases the stocks to the users for a limited time period and specific price. When the IPO has ended, the stock (player) can be bought and sold between users on the transfer market.
How do I search for a player?
You can find the search function on the transfer market and the all players page.
How do I view the current price of a player?
The player's current price is listed on the transfer market page and the all players page.
Why can't I see any sell orders for the player I want?
If you cannot find any sell orders available for the stocks you want to purchase on the transfer market, it's possible that current owners are not interested in selling at the current time.
However, you can still place an offer on the order book, which will be visible to sellers. If a seller is interested, they can choose to sell their stocks to you at the price you offered. With this feature, you can be confident that you'll be able to acquire the stocks you want at a fair price, even if they are not available immediately.
